spokes and aluminum hubs, which means we can true them
up when they're three years old and the spokes won't break.
Shimano Deore rear derailleur (like you'd expect to see

This
is a real, long-term value bike. A Monterey is a "good
enough" bike - not cheap, not expensive, made to
be serviced and last for ten or fifteen years. |

is this bike for? |
We
keep a few of these around because of the unique, "loop
style" stepthrough frame. If you want a cushy ride
for the back roads this is your bike. There are cheaper
versions out there but this is the quality level you want
to get if you want to be happy with it ten years from
now. |
