FUJI
Nevada
3.0
$449
Entry
level mountain bike for dirt road and light trail use.
|
Notable
features at this price |
Good
looks, a spring fork with preload adjustment for different
rider weights, and the increased durability of the threadless
head setup are all upgrades over cheaper, wannabe bikes. |
Hardware
overview |
Aluminum
frame, SR Suntour SF-M2025 50mm travel fork. Shimano Acera
level, 24sp EZfire drivetrain, 36 stainless spokes per
wheel. |
Why
we like this bike |
We've
chosen this bike over the comparably-priced Fisher because
that maker has inexplicably chosen to offer rim brakes
instead of the much more sensible cable disc brakes on
this bike. The Nevada 3.0 is our least pricey bike with
discs, a must-have for northern New England glacial silt
and sand. |
Who
is this bike for? |
Lightweight
trail riders, and "light trail" riders. A good
choice for kids and for people who don't put their bikes
through much pounding. |
Sizes
available |
13,15,17,19.5,20.5,22,24
